Brand voice, positioning + strategic editing of the message with Squarespace web design

City Girl Arts

Trailblazer:

Leslie Howard
Owner & Designer, City Girl Arts
St. Petersburg, FL

Vision:

A crisp, clean, art gallery-style presentation of Leslie’s shop and services — and getting rid of her clunky, old Wordpress site!

Obstacles:

Leslie doesn’t have professional photography of her pieces — which also vary widely in design and color — so the site design needed to provide the extra polish and cohesion that the imagery could not.

Solutions:

Brand positioning, strategic editing, and template Squarespace design

Designer Leslie Howard finds, fixes up, and makes fabulous beautiful vintage furniture – always with striking style and often with a sense of humor. After her clunky Wordpress site and blog had sat stagnant for years, she reached out to me to develop a modern new web design that truly reflected her high end products’ quality and unique personality. I created a custom Squarespace site that reflected our strategic and artistic goals – and facilitated a simple and seamless transition from Wordpress.

Success!

Bright but minimal, Leslie’s new site brings alive the vibrant energy of each of her pieces, presenting each with polish and pizazz.

Visit City Girl Arts here, which includes updates made by Leslie since our work together completed.

Shoutout to MacKenzie Kuhns at Reverie House Studio for her beautiful brand identity work.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all the work you did on my site! Beginning to end, it was lovely working with you! You are so skilled. Thanks for everything so far and in advance for more.
