Talks for leading + loving your entrepreneurial life

I’m a personal development junkie + speaker

I deliver self-care workshops for motivated and ambitious professionals who want to lead and love their lives.

Designed for busy entrepreneurs and driven professionals, my talks and accompanying tools shine new light on ideas for self-care, rekindling joy, dreaming big, thinking productively, making measurable progress, and growing in meaningful ways.

Filled with personal stories, tangible and tested tactics, and manageable next steps, each interactive session is designed to create results. Participants talk out their challenges, brainstorm ideas, create a workable plan, and leave ready to take action immediately.

I’m thrilled to have spoken for these audiences:

I’m always looking for high-level, industry-specific professionals to share their expertise with my group coaching program, the Creative Business Accelerator. Emily was exactly the right person to help my group members think differently about how their brand voice, image, and website experience can help them build trust and land more ideal clients. Emily’s style is warm and relatable; her presentation was refreshing, thought provoking, and fun. I’d highly recommend Emily to anyone looking to motivate, inspire, and educate their audience!

Take Care + Take Action

This interactive workshop is designed to prompt busy professionals to reflect on their personal self-care habits (or lack thereof!), intentionally set new goals, and put an achievable plan in place.

Participants will leave each session prepared to take action toward living a more balanced, joyful life both personally and professionally.

Customizable in length from 60 minutes long to several sessions across multiple days

Gumption, Grit + Grace

What is it really like to make the leap from traditional employment to starting your own business or side-hustle? What do you need to know about the first 6 months, 12 months, or 2 years of entrepreneurship?

This session delves into the 3 essential attitudes of the entrepreneur — gumption, grit, and grace — and how they support a new (or seasoned!) business owner’s beliefs and actions around money, a growth mindset, and good mental health.

Participants will walk away feeling empowered to run a business they love.

Available in a 45- to 60-minute session — or as a panelist on a related topic

What’s Your (Self-Care) Why?

It’s easy to talk about what self-care is and how important it is — but talking about it isn't taking action!

To make action happen, start with a different question: why?

This session covers what a personal Why is, how it works to support taking action toward self-care, and how participants can choose their own personal Why for their self-care to start taking action immediately.

Customizable in length from a 10-minute TED-style talk to an interactive 45- to 60-minute workshop

I’ve attended many self-care lectures, but your talk was different in an amazing way. You met us where we were at and provided personalized, manageable strategies. Your step-by-step layout gave relevant examples, and I also enjoyed getting a peek into how you were using these techniques in your life. It is motivational to know that such a clearly laid out strategy worked and didn’t just sound nice. Thank you for opening my eyes to an effective self-care strategy!

Your talk was amazing! You were great with the participants, listened to them, and connected with them. You had people laughing and engaged when everyone has ZERO energy right now. That’s remarkable actually. I think we all needed a gut check on self-care, and you tailored the ideas to their lives in a meaningful way. Thank you so much!
